By day, this cosy retail shop and Spiritual centre, Spiritus, sees many visitors, students and customers - but when night falls, no 85 High Street becomes.....the
The Spirit House was built circa 1544 (although parts of the house go back to the 12th century) and it has seen many people come and go .... and many deaths.
Built with Stone from Evesham Abbey, the house holds many ghostly secrets...
The Spirit House
At night, when the owners leave, the lower floors are opened up to ghost hunters and paranormal investigators. There is a haunted cellar where guests are invited to spend the night…or at least try to – many have left early citing all kinds of strange noises and visions.
The Spirit House also boasts its own Poltergeist, known only as "Colin" who moves heavy chairs around in the cellar !
The ghost of a young girl and a monk are also often seen ....

The Spirit House is fast becoming one of the most popular haunted venues in the Midlands - maybe it's because it's one of the most active !
On the left is a picture taken by a guest of a chair which tipped ON ITS OWN - no-one else was in the room. Notice the angle - classic Poltergeist phenomena!

There are many Spirits other than Colin that roam the Spirit House - The Headless Knight from the Battle of Evesham, Mary the Tudor Lady, The Faceless Monk and the very scary Scream Face - so-called because he appears as a very tall, dark figure in black robes, with a white, scream-like face!
With Lanterns that swing of their own accord, vile smells and a spirit with red, piercing eyes - The Spirit House is a must for your Paranormal Group or Event!

What a fab night at Spiritus, great to get together but the iceing on the cake was the cellar oh my God I would love to spend a night down there if I could last that long,!! all that read this if your searching for evidence look no further take the risk if you dare!! if you think you have the guts and it is okay with Sue I will face the fear with you, but don't put yourself up for something you cant see through!!!!
If your wanting to spend the night at a real haunted house then you need look no further! The Spirit House is all that you could wish for if your looking for a night of intense poltergeist activity...not for the faint hearted!
Anybody remotely interested in the paranormal get yourselves down to Spiritus! You won't believe your eyes! The chair in the cellar is a must see!
Truly a amazing place TeamGreen Paranormal investigated here on new years eve and witnessed chairs moving in the cellar, cellar door rattling, and a table banging upstairs, we cant wait to return on the 19th feb to hold another all night investigation of the cellar
